Available Positions 2025

The nonprofit company Isegran Maritime Preservation Center AS was granted status as
a regional maritime preservation center in December 2022. Over the past 20 years, a
truly unique maritime cultural community has been built up on the island of Isegran in
Fredrikstad. The cornerstone of this community is the shipyard.

We carry out all types of repairs and restoration projects on larger sailing vessels, gaff-
riggers, and classic sail- and motorboats.

Working with traditional craftsmanship techniques and natural materials helps create a
sustainable and vibrant coastal culture. We aim to make the maritime culture of the
future sustainable by practicing and passing on traditional craftsmanship.
Our core values include:

• Development and preservation of traditional craftsmanship techniques
• A sustainable, vibrant, and aesthetic maritime culture for the future
• An inclusive community in a unique and meaningful environment
